Location options are: Rosemont, Illinois, Dallas, Texas, or Elkhart, Indiana; relocation offered. The key objective of this role is to improve inventory management across the Americas Region while improving customer satisfaction and capital efficiency. This will require an analytical and strategic mindset as a leader. In this role you will develop, implement and own the strategy to manage inventory. You will setup KPIs to measure the success managing the finished goods inventory for the aftermarket business, which will be your key focus. This position reports to the President of the Americas Region and will interact with senior executives across the region and stakeholders. Multiple distribution managers (5) and an inventory forecasting manager will report to you. The opportunity to set strategic direction and establish KPIs over a region of manufacturing sites and distribution centers with focus on the logistics and inventory management of aftermarket finished goods The opportunity to increase revenue through establishing and enhancing logistics and inventory management What responsibilities will you have? Analyze and document flow of goods across the region for multiple sites Analyze and document sales forecasts to production processes Document and challenge processes related to order points and inventory levels Suggest governance structures and KPIs including distribution of accountability Suggest organizational changes and restructure as identified based on a plan to support the overall objectives Prepare investment suggestions related to digitalization, process improvements, efficiency, and more Communicate with other business areas including finance and IT to safeguard access to relevant data and to develop transparent and accurate reporting on inventory levels and deviations Communicate, educate, challenge, inspire and collaborate with key stakeholders on inventory efficiencies and logistics Act as a sounding board to senior management over a variety of issues related to logistics and inventory management What experience and skills do you need?
