As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you would work daily with the quality, manufacturing, engineering, and procurement departments on issues relating to supplier certification, validation, and quality performance.

What You Need For This Position?
  • Bachelor’ s degree in an Engineering or Business discipline and 4+ years’ experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer or 10 years equivalent work experience.
  • ASQ certification preferred but not required.
  • Experience with the audit process life cycle.
  • Experience with ISO-9000 requirements.
  • Must be able to travel up to 40% domestically.

 

What You Will Be Doing?
  • Develop and maintain methods of inspection, testing and evaluation for supplier provided materials.
  • Ensure supplier compliance to the quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that suppliers create and verify corrective action plans.
  • Conduct supplier audits to determine capability of the manufacturing processes, quality systems, and the ability to comply with specifications.
  • Assist in the qualification and disqualification of suppliers.
  • Process and facilitate ISIR/PPAP activities.
  • Assist in preparing work instructions, procedures and other quality system documents.
