What you will be doing?
  • Oversee Shipping and Receiving department as well as Transportation Team for three locations.
  • Delegate tasks to guarantee correct product delivery to customers within a precise and timely manner.
  • Validate shipments: Audit quantities and Maintain product quality.
  • Verify accuracy of incoming orders.
  • Verify order and invoice accuracy.
  • Maintain warehouse, including inventory and housekeeping activities.
  • Track and analyze delivery service quality.
  • Processing paperwork and provide solutions to customers on any issues; chart solutions.
  • Work with direct trucking operations, work to secure 3rd party carriers and work closely with the Corporate Transportation Team in order to verify drives are compliant.

What you need for this position?
  • 5+ years of leadership experience within a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • 3+ years within shipping/receiving department is REQUIRED.
  • Inventory experience that includes reconciliations and cycle counting.
  • Strong computer skills— ability to use Microsoft Office products and learn company specific software quickly.
  • Experience operating a forklift and willingness to help team as needed, specifically loading and unloading trucks.
  • Highly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn and grow within an organization.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, accountability and organizational skills.
  • Experience training and coaching employees.
