We are seeking a top level Technical Sales Engineer to promote capabilities and services for the organization. The Sales Engineer will develop positive relationships with both new and existing customers.

As a broad overview, the Sales Engineer will be responsible for managing the marketing and sales activities, including product planning and strategies for commercial and military aircraft customers and prospects, leading to planned growth.  Activities include conducting sales calls, presentations, trade shows, strategic alliances and developing sales in new markets, working with internal departments to ensure specifications are clear, communications are timely.

  • Establish account prioritization and planning to drive growth for assigned accounts and monitor progress
  • Provide an Annual Sales Plan/Forecast to support business growth, operating budget and strategic planning objectives.
  • Make frequent direct sales calls to drive growth, retention and profitability and optimize market penetration.
  • Interface with customers to determine technical requirements, feasibility, and expectations in order to ensure an accurate comprehension and understanding of the requirements and completeness of the  deliverables.
  • Participate in finding new opportunities or services to meet the needs of our customers. The Sales Engineer is expected to maintain a high standard of technical knowledge in relation to the company and its products, services, and competitors.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting (cold calling) to new customer acquisition.
  • Organizes and manages sound proposal preparation, pricing establishment, and quotation activities.
  • Gain competitive product/pricing strategies and information to benefit our strategies.
  • Develop an expert understanding of Dynamics product offerings, customer needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Work across marketing and training functions to refine the value proposition and sales tools needed to meet sales targets.
  • Leverage client referrals, associations and networking.
  • Develop internal relationships with inside sales support, customer service, planning, operations, materials, engineering, accounting and other areas of the business to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Qualify new business opportunities and set up web meetings for demonstration of Dynamics products and services.  Assist with advertising and sales promotion campaigns
  • Produce effective logistic and time planning of sales activities, travel planning and prioritizing.
  • Produce effective verbal and written communication for activities; sales reports, customer correspondence, etc.



Bachelor’ s degree highly preferred or related experience in the precision machining and fabrication industry.   Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience.  Must have strong technical background with strong customer facing skills with the ability to excite and instill confidence in the customer base.  Articulate, professional with excellent presentation skills.  The ideal candidate must demonstrate the full capabilities of products and services through cold calling, client presentations, referral generation and networking.  Safety conscious. Able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Application Software ( ie Word, Excel, Power point, and some Access ).
