Sales & Marketing Manager

SUMMARY:

Responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing programs that have a direct result in increasing sales.  Will plan, manage, and exceed all sales forecasts by creating sales promotion, maintaining current accounts and seek new business development opportunities.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:                 

  • Establish a workable sales forecast with President of company for production demands throughout the year.
  • Develop, market and deliver specific market sector buying programs from distribution to the consumer level.
  • Create, execute, and manage product launches through various market sectors and resources.
  • Develop and execute program strategies for E-Comm, Farm, Pet Specialty, Distribution, direct retail and catalog channels.
  • Continue to study and measure the competition.
  • Locate, hire, train and manage sales and marketing firms for national coverage.
  • Support and manage the independent sales agencies to positive product placement and account relationship building.  
  • Study our customer prices to improve our margins.  Coordinate with operations department key promotions, deep dive implementation, and expanded customer strategies, priorities and programs to grow revenues and profits.
  • Establish and maintain a working budgeting for trade show and promotional expenses.
  • Work with our employees to smoothly communicate our sales strategies as to satisfy our production demand.
  • Establish and maintain a monthly Marketing Meeting to effectively communicate our sales goals, customer needs, intentions, and any customer or product shortcoming to company President.
  • React immediately on all and any sales/customer problems with precise solutions – maintain customer satisfaction 100%!
  • Always maintain the integrity and professionalism.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with at least 5 years of relevant sales and marketing experience for a manufacturing company selling through distribution channels and retail outlets.  Professionalism coupled with exceptional communication and customer interaction skills.  Ability to travel as needed.
