As a broad overview, the RF Product Application Engineer will be support the sales staff and be technical experts in the development of new business.  The RF Product Applications Engineer will be a customer facing Engineer with an intuitive business sense and deep understanding of the market segment, including competition’ s products and customers’ applications, and the technical skill to translate his customers’ needs into revenue-generating opportunities.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?   
  • Partner with sales and work with customer base in the market development and promotion of RF Components used in a wide variety of wireless applications ( ie; Antennas, filters, Diplexers, couplers, baluns, and other RF Components ). 
  • Will work with key partners, both internally and external client in developing RF components for use in WiFi, cellular, 5G, and other advanced networks areas.  Involvement from initial partner engagements to RF component design and production. 
  • Partner with internal sales and marketing on design proposals and scheduling.

REQUIREMENTS: 

Bachelor’ s Degree in Electrical Engineering required along with at least 2-3 years of emphasis in RF Technology or equivalent desired.  Prior experience in marketing and/or sales as this role will interact with the customer on a regular basis.  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work with a variety of customers and internal teams.  An understanding of wireless technologies and markets is preferred.  This position will travel anywhere from 10% - 40%, primarily within the state of California.  The role can be based either in San Jose or San Diego.
