Quality Program Manager

In support of program launches that will engage with cross-functional teams from concept through production in the design and promotion of quality throughout the design and launch phase.  Will manage the progress of program and identify all scope, timelines, budget, and cross-functional issues, assuring flawless launch. 

MAIN ACTIVITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with product development teams to define the quality and product requirements.
  • Ensures uniform and consistent application of company’ s quality procedures.
  • Train colleagues on quality roadmap for implementation per program requirements.
  • Define the Project Status Audit scheme, in line with Corporate guidelines, and implement it.
  • Train on the implementation of FMEA (Design and Process).  Attend and hosts Design and Process FMEA.
  • Promote the application of lessons learned and monitor how they are applied in the new developments.
  • Support the plants facing difficulties in launch phase.
  • Help define quality standard needs to be implemented in each phase of product development cycle. 
  • Prepare and issue the Quality Status Report for new projects at plant level.
  • Perform and support Project Status Audits and Process Audits on new production lines.
  • Prepare control plans related to prototypes, pre-series and mass production, including reinforced controls for SOP.
  • Support and assess product validation / qualification according to internal and Customer requirements.
  • Prepare PPAP dossier for product qualification and approval in front of Customer.

 REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’ s degree in engineering
  • 5  years of applicable experience in a Program Manager type role spearheading quality initiatives.
  • Training background.  CQE/CQM preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of ADQP, DFMEA, FMEA, Control Plans. 
  • Previous experience in battery development highly preferred. 
  • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Chinese preferred, but not a requirement. 
  • Six Sigma background helpful.
