What will you be doing?
  • Provide technical support to the entire sales organization and outside vendors
  • Prepare timely and accurate domestic and international quotations
  • Assist sales with preliminary specification and drawing reviews
  • Work with the mechanical engineers on modifications of equipment due to site constraints or new site developments
  • Provide after-sale support to existing customers, representatives, and domestic sales
  • Direct, coordinate, and exercise functional authority for the planning, organization, control, integration, execution, and completion of projects and orders. This is to include, but not be limited to:
    • Preparation, monitoring, and control of all project schedules and timelines
    • Preparation, analysis, and timely completion of all project submittals
    • Analysis of appropriate manufacturing instructions, project specifications, and documentation
    • Analysis and approval of purchased materials and schedules
    • Operation and Maintenance manual arrangement and submission
    • Shop test documentation for quality control
    • Completion of final shop tests and acceptance
    • Shipping (means and most efficient cost)
  • Partner with vendors/fabricators as needed to assure on-time completion of projects and consistent application of design adjustments
  • Coordinate schedule for resolve of engineering design issues and test problems
  • Evaluate and approve design changes, specifications, and all documentation releases
  • Prepare product budget and control expenses
  • Provide in-progress and completion project reports

What do you need for this position?
  • Bachelor or Associate degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering curriculum or business; otherwise, applicable years of experience with mechanical aptitude
  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Background in construction or manufacturing is preferred
  • Ability to understand customer and vendor contracts and manage terms and conditions
  • Ability to read mechanical blueprints
  • Experience working within an ERP system
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Experience in utility design and/or other control design is preferred but not required
