The Project Coordinator is responsible for delivering the following:

  • Interpreting project information and preparing detailed cost estimates and quotations for customers
  • Gathering required information from customers (voltage, building dimensions, loading requirements, etc.)
  • Creating and maintaining sales orders within Epicor ERP system
  • Creating project drawings and bills of materials
  • Confirming equipment ordered is appropriate for the building conditions (load ratings, mounting dimensions, etc.), utilizing engineering assistance as required
  • Maintaining communication with partners to provide support, address issues, answer questions and confirm ship dates
  • Providing support to Project Management department and Director, assist in planning, scheduling, and managing projects and related bookkeeping
  • Preparing Operations & Maintenance manuals
  • Updating internal and external status reporting weekly
  • Performing work activities that are in line with achieving the company’s quality objectives and this includes: identifying non-conformities and initiating Corrective Action Reports and Supplier Reports

What you need to be successful in this job:

  • Associate Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years working as a project coordinator or assistant to a project manager, preferably with understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management System
  • Assist with tracking and reporting through Quality Management System
  • Highly organized with the ability to priorities and multi-task
  • Ability to oversee project timelines and meet deliverables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, understand building drawings and AutoCAD drawings is highly preferred 
  • Knowledge of theatrical rigging systems, equipment and market is a plus
  • Construction and/or technical theater work is a plus
  • Estimating and preparation of take offs
  • Must be proficient with MS Office Applications
  • AutoCAD experience is a plus
