What will you be doing?
  • Provide hands-on leadership to all quality staff within one manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborate with other company quality managers and directors to ensure quality standards are cohesive across all production facilities.
  • Identify issues within manufacturing processes and work with Plant Manager and Supervisors to correct in order to produce a higher quality product while minimizing scrap and production hours.
  • Conduct daily product inspections and identify areas to be corrected.
  • Provide oversight, training and development to quality staff within facility.
  • Conduct quality audits as requested by Quality Director, Sales and Operations Management.
  • Continuously advance your professional and technical knowledge by attending training, reviewing professional publications, establishing professional networks and attending workshops as required by upper management.


What you need for this position?
  • High School Diploma or GED. Associates or Bachelor’ s degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of management experience within a fast-paced, ever-changing manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and processes within the truck, bus, trailer or RV industries.
  • Excellent communication skills— both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem solving skills.
  • Ability to manage and maintain positivity in complex and intense situations.
  • Ability to be on your feet most of the day and work overtime as needed.
