We are representing a successful 70 year manufacturing company in Jacksonville, FL to help identify a President of the organization because the incumbent is retiring. 

Looking for a passionate and driven individual that can lead an organization, currently under 100 employees, towards increased profitability and growth.    

About the role... The President will lead all strategic, business and operational aspects of the organization.   The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience as a GM in a manufacturing environment, providing high quality sub systems / capital equipment to industry.  The candidate will have a proven track record of maximizing business results and inspiring leadership. The President should have an entrepreneurial mindset able to lead towards aggressive growth targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRESIDENT
  • Our President provides strategic leadership to the company and direct the Executive Management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Our President provides leadership and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.
  • Our President spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.
  • Our President collaborates with the Upper Management teams to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the company.
  • Our President has Full P&L responsibility.  Drive the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives.
  • Our President leads all sales, operations and business activities to ensure desired results that are aligned with the overall strategy and mission.
  • Our President leads the senior management team to meet the needs of the workforce including employee engagement within the work environment, recruitment, and retention. Builds a positive, compliant and productive culture in the workplace.
  • Our President works closely with senior finance personnel to prepare annual budgets, financial control and complete risk analysis on potential investments. Monitors a system responsible for accounting, budgeting, responsibility reporting, internal controls, auditing, and cost reporting.

BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS
  • BA/BS in business, engineering, or similar.  Masters a plus.
  • 7 or more year’ s experience as a senior operations executive in a manufacturing company. 
  • Demonstrated track recorded in delivering exceptional business results. 
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision, running a growing manufacturing operation.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a dynamic growing organization, and be effective resolving ambiguities.
  • Ability to transition seamlessly from strategic level vision creation to day-to-day tactical operations.
  • Demonstrated goal oriented management style. 
  • Experience with customized, low volume capital equipment manufacturing.
