What will you be doing?
  • You will be provide strategic leadership, comprehensive business planning and regional direction for the North East Sales Region.
  • You will give direction to sales personnel in building organizational sales growth from potential agricultural markets.
  • You will demonstrate and communicate accurately and effectively the strategies, ethics and priorities for the company through the sales team to retail partners and customers
  • You will identify areas that require additional representation in the marketplace and assist with planning to accomplish those goals.
  • You will provide quarterly reports to the Senior Management regarding Sales Area Development and Sales Projections.
  • You will be responsible for the execution of Sales Agreements.
  • You will travel up to 50% of the time to support the growth within the region and for corporate functions.
  • You will manage the Operations Budge for the Northeast region.
  • You will coordinate the Agronomic Training for the Regional Sales Staff and Direct Sellers.
  • You will plan and participate in Seller Training.

What experience do you need for this position?
  • You must have a minimum of 10 YEARS AGRICULTURAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
  • You must have a minimum of 5 years of successful team management & development experience.
  • You must be able to travel an average of 50% of the time and reside centrally in the Northeast region, preferably MI, IN, OH, IL or MN.
  • A 4 year degree or equivalent work experience in the agricultural field
  • You must have an excellence in motivating, inspiring, team-building and coaching.
  • You must have strong computer skills including, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
