CNC Machinist 

 

Are you a Machinist with over a years’ experience operating a CNC Machine? Are you open to a Direct Hire position located near Dayton, OH? If yes, this is a great opportunity for you!

Shift Options:

  • Day Shift 6am-4:30pm
  • Night Shift 7:30pm-6am

 

What you will need for this position?

  • 2+ years of experience operating a CNC machine
  • Ability to read blueprints, G and M code programming, and operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to operate measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, surface plate checks and optical comparators
  • Ability to use fractions, percentages, geometry, ratios, trigonometry, and portions

 

What will you be doing?

  • Set up mills and lathes by installing and adjusting tools and attachments
  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs
  • Make basic changes to programs on the machines
  • Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting
  • Detect malfunctions and preform troubleshooting processes
  • Replace worn tools before dimensions are affected
  • Assure accuracy and quality
