The Inside Sales & Customer Service Rep will be responsible for: Contacting potential and existing customers by cold calling, generating sales leads, responding to sales inquiries to secure new and increased business accounts to meet established sales targets. Prospect and follow up with established target list of accounts. Stay current and up to date on customer market trends, and new product(s). Conduct market surveys Organizing and attending trade shows and conferences as required (3-4/year). Travel would be required. Responsible for handing customer inquiries, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and provide follow up to ensure the customer is satisfied. Taking incoming calls, responding to emails and voicemail messages, which could be entering orders into the online system and processing payments and/or providing answers and information Responsible for keeping customer records, process customer accounts and file all necessary documents. Processing samples/paperwork for quality control testing Prepare and maintain accurate and timely sales information and reports. What You Need for This Position? Computer Skills: Good understanding/proficient in the Microsoft Suite applications Customer Service Skills: The customer is always right. Inside sales reps will need to be able speak in a friendly way to customers and potential customers, listening to their needs and helping communicate options for them. Communication Skills: Inside sales reps speak to customers about a product's different features, and answer any questions they might have. Persistence: Not every customer is going to be a sale. Being able to bounce back if you lose a sale will be key for this job.
