We are in search of highly skilled IT professional to manage the IT Department with oversight over one other support professional.   This role will ensure the optimal function of IT/ Business Systems while providing support to end users in the selection, procurement and maintenance of software programs and hardware.

Essential responsibilities include:
  • Planning, architecture, implementation, and support of all Information Technology for a manufacturing operation, single site entity of less than 100 employees.  Focus on strategic implementation of projects including recent ERP implementation, support user environment during integration, and work with outside contractors with development and back-end issues.    
  • Oversee IT Infrastructure Management, including Security, Data Centers (Servers and LAN), Connectivity, Mobile Devices, Wireless, Storage/Enterprise Data Management, Backup and Disaster Recovery, email system, website Outside Support and Enterprise software application management, etc.
  • Develop and maintain written SOPs for enterprise software processes.
  • Responsible for keeping the company at the appropriate software release level.
  • Work with executive management on the development of automated processes with current software and new ERP system.
  • Managing outside consultants and vendors, and working within budgetary constraints with the use of outside resources.

Qualifications to be Successful:

Undergraduate degree preferred and at least 7-10 years of relevant experience.  Experience can be substituted for education.  The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in developing plans for systems development and operations.  Demonstrated ability to improve business processes and stay a breast with new technology on both infrastructure and business processes.  Background in managing engineering systems helpful and fundamental understanding or experience with AX Dynamics helpful.
