With a staff of five, this role will ensure the optimal function of IT/ Business Systems while providing support to end users in the selection, procurement and maintenance of software programs and hardware.

Essential responsibilities include:

  • Planning, architecture, implementation, and support of all Information Technology for a manufacturing operation with several operating entities outside of north central, IN.  Focus on strategic implementation of projects including roll-out, implementation of new ERP custom data reporting and automating "painful" manual processes with enterprise software.   
  • Oversee IT Infrastructure Management, including Security, Data Centers (Servers and LAN), Connectivity, Mobile Devices, Wireless, Storage/Enterprise Data Management, Backup and Disaster Recovery, email system, website Outside Support and Enterprise software application management, etc.
  • From an Enterprise Application Management perspective, drive business intelligence/custom data reporting.
  • Develop and maintain written SOPs for enterprise software processes.
  • Responsible for keeping the company at the appropriate software release level.
  • Work with executive management on the development of automated processes with enterprise software.
  • Negotiating with outside consultants and vendors.

Qualifications to be Successful:

Undergraduate degree preferred and at least 7-10 years of relevant experience.  3-5 years in an IT management capacity. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in developing plans for systems development and operations.  Demonstrated ability to improve business processes within the IT function and developing new insights with data.  Experience with JD Edwards required.
