HR Generalist role within the Company:

  • Assists with staffing and talent acquisition needs to include placing orders with partner staffing agencies, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews and orientation.
  • Maintains human resources records, active and terminated employment files, training documentation and matrix and ensure compliance with AA/EEO, labor relations, FMLA, all other local, state and federal regulations and company quality policies and procedures.
  • Conduct new hire and temp orientation.
  • Assists the human resources manager develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.
  • Improves manager and employee performance by providing supporting research and services to assist in evaluating potential solutions and implementing selected solution
  • Improve manager and employee performance by providing coaching and counseling managers and employees on company policies and processes.
  • Completes special projects such as planning and scheduling plant employee meetings, events or other similar tasks as directed by HR Manager or Plant Manager.
  • Able to professionally and confidentially handle employee information and issues.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

Background Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • ATS, Web navigation, document scanning, typing, Excel, Word, Outlook, experience with other company program(s) – Global Shop ERP- training will be provided.
  • Able to handle multiple projects at any given time.
  • Professionalism and Confidentiality.
