HR Generalist role within the Company: Assists with staffing and talent acquisition needs to include placing orders with partner staffing agencies, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews and orientation. Maintains human resources records, active and terminated employment files, training documentation and matrix and ensure compliance with AA/EEO, labor relations, FMLA, all other local, state and federal regulations and company quality policies and procedures. Conduct new hire and temp orientation. Assists the human resources manager develop human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action. Improves manager and employee performance by providing supporting research and services to assist in evaluating potential solutions and implementing selected solution Improve manager and employee performance by providing coaching and counseling managers and employees on company policies and processes. Completes special projects such as planning and scheduling plant employee meetings, events or other similar tasks as directed by HR Manager or Plant Manager. Able to professionally and confidentially handle employee information and issues. Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions. Background Profile: Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management preferred. Strong communication and organizational skills. ATS, Web navigation, document scanning, typing, Excel, Word, Outlook, experience with other company program(s) – Global Shop ERP- training will be provided.
