A Digital Marketing Specialist is needed by a manufacturing client in St. Joseph/Benton Harbor Michigan area. In this role you will work with the marketing team to support digital marketing strategies that focus on implementing SEOs and SERPs and enhancing the eCommerce  application.

What will you be doing?
  • Work closely with the marketing team to support digital marketing initiatives.
  • Focus on improving SERPs (search engine results pages) for brand websites.
  • Implement SEO and paid advertising strategies for each brand.
  • Content creation and optimization for websites, blogs, and other digital platforms-with special attention to eCommerce  content and categories.
  • Research and identify target keywords and implement them within content and paid advertising campaigns.
  • Collect and analyze data, research competitors and identify trends in order to maximize ROI for paid research campaigns.
  • Develop and implement link building strategy.
  • Monitor and report on KPI' s, using Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and social insight tool.
  • Estimate and manage monthly budgets.
  • Set up and manage PPC (pay-per-click) and CPC (cost-per-click), remarketing, and social media advertising campaigns.

What do you need for this position?
  • Bachelor Degree in a  Marketing or related  field  is preferred; client may consider Associate Degree with proven experience.
  • Must offer proven digital marketing
  • Must offer experience in  eCommerce
  • Proven SEO experience, including content creation, keyword research, and reporting.
  • Proven SEM experience managing ad campaigns across search engines, particularly Google.
  • Google AdWords Certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of digital marketing and the latest trends; know how SEO/SEM is incorporated into large marketing initiatives, including campaigns for eCommerce.
  • Knowledge of technical aspects of SEO (HTML, canonical URL' s, etc.) and the ability to implement and manage supporting tactics.
  • Strong understanding of website analytics tools, including Google Analytics.
  • Experience with bid management tool, especially Google AdWords.
  • Experience with link building campaigns.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong organization skills, self-driven and goal oriented.
  • Candidate must also be able to work in a fast paced dynamic  environment and have the ability to work cross functionally and communicate effectively in a team setting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
