Continuous  Improvement Engineer

Are you an experienced Industrial Engineer with a strong Lean & Continuous Improvement background?  Are you open to a contract, possible contract to hire position in Attica, IN?  If yes, keep reading!

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer, you are responsible for supporting the Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives through the manufacturing facility. 

What you will be doing?
  • Our Continuous Improvement Engineer facilitates, leads, mentors and monitors continuous improvement projects.
  • Our Continuous Improvement Engineer measures, analyzes, and evaluates  continuous improvement projects and present reports/data to management.
  • Our Continuous Improvement Engineer reviews data, trends and statistical studies to help identify areas of improvement and ways to eliminate waste.
  • Our Continuous Improvement Engineer assists in training of manufacturing facility personnel of continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
  • Our Continuous Improvement Engineer Conduct Kaizen events.

What you need for this position?
  • Bachelor’ s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer or Lean & CI Engineer
  • ERP experience required
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred
  • Additional quality background or certification preferred
  • Solid experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Able to pass a criminal background check
