Business Development Specialist

Are you a Sales Leader, with a proven record of growing and retaining market share within an assigned territory?  Do you have experience selling construction related equipment and knowledge of the concrete industry? If so, our client would love to talk with you!


Our client has been in business for 50+ years, and they are 100% employee owned. They are looking for a Business Development Specialist to cover the northeast territory, from Maine to Virginia. This person will work remotely, but will be given the tools and support to build a profitable book of business.


What you’ll be doing:


  • The Business Development Specialist will have a strong sales mentality, and a history of building solid business relationships within the construction industry
  • This role requires a “hunter” to grow and maintain  customer market share in the NE Territory
  • The Business Development Specialist will represent the company at trade shows and industry events to promote company products and network within the industry


What you need to be successful in the role:


  • The Business Development Specialist will have five plus years in sales capacity, selling construction related equipment
  • Experience with aggregate or cement producers a plus
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a B CDL License
  • College degree preferred, but not requires
  • Ability to maintain a heavy travel schedule
