Brand Marketing Specialist

The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day marketing strategies that build and maintain the organization identity.  Responsible for the accurate development, implementation, stewardship and evaluation of the organizations marketing strategies, both locally and nationally, through all channels.  Create, update and enforce brand guidelines so all creative work is cohesive and aligned with the overall look and feel of the organization. This individual will be behind the scenes helping orchestrate all of the pieces that go into bringing the product to market. In addition, this individual will be involved in decisions related to creative and content of projects, strategy and alignment of projects, product positioning, concentration and knowledge of target audiences, messaging and branding.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

The end-to-end development and execution of required marketing campaigns and promotions. This includes but is not limited to: messaging and creative strategy, channel and target selection, compliance review, and post-measurement. Works constructively and efficiently with internal personnel, external partners and vendors to ensure promotions are on target, on time, on budget and that appropriate staff are operationally prepared for the promotional activity and response.

  • Building upon strong creativity skills, work with graphic designer(s) to create clear messages and powerful ads. Responsible for proofing campaign material and presenting it to management for approval
  • Actively participate in the strategic development of the organizations marketing plan and budget. Efficiently contributes key data and other input as needed to support the qualitative and quantitative creation of the annual marketing plan and budget.
  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; provides information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommends options and courses of action.
  • Achieves financial goals by establishing objectives, developing budgets, controlling cost, and maximizing use of assets. Proactively recommends adjustments to the marketing plan to ensure alignment with strategic plan and business goals; maintains maximize efficiency of the marketing budget without impacting overall effectiveness.
  • Report on ROI and key performance metrics.  Compiles data and prepares reports based upon the results of marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinates campaigns materials at all branches, ensuring materials are in branches only during the campaign dates, and that all branches have a consistent look.
  • Review, maintain, and perform updates via WordPress to corporate website and Intranet.  Utilize social media effectively as an advertising tool.  Implement and utilize digital marketing solutions in all regions. 
  • Create or review written communication to be utilized via statement messages, email marketing initiatives, letters, social media, brochures, etc.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing or similar with applicable experience.  Must have the following working hand knowledge.

  • Technical marketing skills including graphic design
  • Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing strategies
  • Proven experience in customer and market research
  • Relevant product and industry knowledge
  • Experience with relevant Microsoft Office suite programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • experience with relevant software applications including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, or equivalent
