Aerospace Regional Sales Manager

Southeast U.S. Region  

If you offer regional sales experience within the aerospace industry, you may be interested in this Regional Sales Manager permanent, full-time job position. In this role you will conduct outside sales of products and services of the company by utilizing knowledge of process capabilities and effective sales strategies. You will complete the selling process from initiating sales calls, communicating with customers, selling solutions (consultative selling), sales negotiations, and closing the sale. You will work together with customers and potential customers by assisting in the design of their products to enable appropriate use of components, which can be produced by company.  Location preference is Atlanta or the Carolinas.

What will you be doing?
  • Effectively manage customer relationships.
  • Visit customers and potential customers at their place of business when appropriate to enhance relationships with customers and insure appropriate knowledge of customer needs and requirements
  • Work with customers to develop optimum product design to fit our capabilities. 
  • Assist field representatives and customers in the evaluation of design modifications that benefit the company and/or customer.
  • Take initiative and responsibility to increase current and new business through growth and profit evolution.
  • Manage and implement customer pricing.
  • Maintain and stay abreast of market and company capabilities and knowledge in respective areas of responsibility and communicate effectively.
  • Evaluate inquiries and coordinate dissemination of key quotations with company.  
  • Maintain inter-company relationships, technical information and communications to be liaison for company and customers. 
  • Review proposals from engineering for clarity, appropriateness and recommend changes. 
  • Coordinate internal sales activities for assigned customers, insuring customers’ specific requirements are properly interpreted. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

What do you need for this position?
  • Bachelor Degree from a 4-year college or university; BA or BS degree in Business, Engineering, Communications, Marketing or closely related
  • 5+ years’ experience selling technical solutions and/or products with background working with, or selling to, engineering/manufacturing customers
  • Metal-forming background preferred; experience selling product vs. commodity
  • Aerospace industry experience
  • Customer relationship building experience and proven business development that has increased company revenue
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • AutoCAD
  • MS Office Applications including MS Project
  • Travel -   60%, both domestic and international
  • Must possess active driver’ s license and offer a good driving record
  • Applicants must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Residents of the U.S. based on client’ s requirements
  • Base salary, performance bonuses, work remote, car allowance
