Administrative Assistant – Columbus, OH
2 month assignment

What You Need For This Position?

  • 3-5 year’s administrative experience within a professional environment
  • Advanced computer skills – MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat.
    • Knowledge of SharePoint and Concur is a plus.
  • Ability to learn various other programs and applications as necessary and/or required.
  • Professional presence and exceptional client service skills, exercising a high level of confidentiality in all work products and communications.
  • Able to work flexible hours and schedule including some Saturday’s and late evenings based upon project work and peak busy times.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice, based on project schedules and peak business periods. Estimate an annual average of 5-10% overtime.
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality record.

What You Will Be Doing?

  • Merge, E-file and assemble business and individual tax returns, utilizing firm determined processes and procedures and firm tracking systems to ensure all data is entered.
  • Scan and auto flow individual and trust source documents into firm applications.
  • Produce, format and edit letters, reports and other documents in Microsoft and firm applications
  • Create, edit and format .PDF files using Adobe Acrobat.
  • Prepare and distribute various types of business unit reports, providing data analysis and reconciliation.
  • Research information and summarize findings using various Internet search engines and research sites.
  • Responsible for document management and maintenance using the company systems and other applications, including SharePoint.
  • Support various special projects from start to finish using Microsoft, database or web-based applications including working with others to ensure quality and timely completion.
  • Utilize tracking systems to ensure all time and materials are recorded, project work and type are tracked, and project instructions and client interactions are fully documented.
