Account Manager

Top level Account Manager  to promote capabilities and services for the organization. The Account Manager will develop positive relationships with both new and existing customers.

As a broad overview, the Account Manager will be responsible for managing the marketing and sales activities, including product planning and strategies for a broad based and diversified customer base and prospects, leading to planned growth.  Activities include conducting sales calls, presentations, trade shows, strategic alliances and developing sales in new markets, working with internal departments to ensure specifications are clear, communications are timely.

  • The Account Manager establishes and excels rapport with existing clients with plans  to drive growth for assigned accounts and monitor progress
  • The Account Manager optimizes opportunities.  Direct cold calling in support of divisions strategic initiatives and profitability. 
  • The Account Manager works with customers closely to understand all technical requirements, feasibility and customers expectations of the delivered product.  
  • The Account Manager works in cross functional team in finding new opportunities and new markets to penetrate.  Devise plan to penetrate certain target companies. 
  • The Account Manager organizes and manages sound proposal preparation, pricing establishment, and quotation activities.
  • The Account Manager gains competitive product/pricing strategies and information to benefit our strategies.
  • The Account Manager works across marketing and training functions to refine the value proposition and sales tools needed to meet sales targets.
  • The Account Manager leverages client referrals, associations and networking.
  • The Account Manager produces effective verbal and written communication for activities; sales reports, customer correspondence, etc.

  • Bachelor’ s degree highly preferred with 3-7 years of applicable experience. 
  • Background in technical sales of highly engineered and fabricated components and sub-assemblies preferred. 
  • Must have strong technical background with strong customer facing skills with the ability to connect with a diverse client base. 
  • Articulate, professional with excellent presentation skills and high energy.
