Account Executive, Electronic Components?

The Account Executive  will be responsible for account management and business development of the company’ s line of passive components for the automotive industry. 

In addition to sales other activities include  presentations, trade shows, strategic alliances, further penetrating  existing accounts, and new business development.

  • Establish account prioritization and planning to drive growth for assigned accounts and monitor progress
  • Make frequent direct sales calls to drive growth, retention and profitability and optimize market penetration.
  • Manage outside Independent Sales Rep. 
  • Interface with customers to determine technical requirements, feasibility, and expectations in order to ensure an accurate comprehension and understanding of the requirements and completeness of the  deliverables.
  • Participate in finding new opportunities or services to meet the needs of our customers. Will maintain a high standard of technical knowledge in relation to the company and its products, services, and competitors.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting (cold calling) to new customer acquisition.
  • Organizes and manages sound proposal preparation, pricing establishment, and quotation activities.
  • Develop internal relationships with inside sales support, customer service, planning, operations, materials, engineering, accounting and other areas of the business to ensure customer satisfaction.

  • BSEE or BSEET - required
  • 5+ years sales experience of electronic components 
  • Background in RF components, and understanding of wireless technologies
  • Travel up to  40% - domestics and international.
